Chalet Chardon & Petit Chardon
The Chalets were an original Savoyard Barn which has been newly renovated in the Alpine style. The large open plan lounge/dining area retains the authentic features of the original old beams and stonework, and has a cosy log burning stove. The large Vaulted window looks towards the Encombres Valley and over the river with its ancient bridge, the Pont Romain. The Petit Chardon has retained the original vaulted ceilings of the old byre.
Skiing in St. Martin de Belleville
The gondola from St. Martin gives direct access to the largest ski area in the world The 3 Valleys with over 600 Kms of piste to choose from, which includes Val Thorens, the highest resort in France, making it the most snow sure. From St Martin you can ski to Les Menuires, Meribel, Mottaret, La Tania and picture postcard Courcheval as well as Val Thorens.
